Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City - and new winger next?

To start today’s column - Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City is the biggest ‘here we go’ of the week. Some sources are denying it at the moment, but I’m reliably told that Manchester City and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement in principle for Gvardiol. The details of the deal will become more clear later in the week when they prepare all the documents, as it’s a verbal agreement for now.

I’m still working on finding out the final fee, and I’ll update once I have the correct final number. It will include add-ons so this has to be clarified, but of course will be a big package around €100m. Manchester City have been working on this deal for months, and they’re now waiting for second final part of his medical tests and then to sign the contracts. Gvardiol was very, but very close to Chelsea one year ago in August but Leipzig were perfect with the strategy once again.
