Let’s start with more drama on the Ousmane Dembele after yesterday’s bomb news that he’d said yes to Paris Saint-Germain. As I said yesterday, there was always the feeling among sources that PSG and Barcelona would not complete a deal in time with La Liga for his €50m release clause. This clause has now expired, so the timing was always short and now PSG and Barca will have some days to complete an agreement for Dembele.
As for the player, he’s sent a formal communication to inform Barcelona that he’s negotiating with PSG, though the reality is he already has an agreement with PSG, so now it’s down to the clubs to close the deal. Let’s see how this story will develop in the next few days.
