Premier League round-up
Morgan Rogers was too hot to handle for Man United
Morgan Rogers’ superb double inspired Aston Villa to a 10th consecutive victory in all competitions, as the Premier League title contenders edged past Manchester United with a hard-fought 2–1 win on Sunday.
Just a week after deciding the contest at West Ham with a composed finish followed by a sensational strike, the 23-year-old England international once again delivered on the big stage, ensuring Villa went into the Christmas period just three points behind league leaders Arsenal.
Matheus Cunha’s goal provided some hope to the visitors but Rogers made sure his team continue their brilliant winning run.
