Premier League round-up
Phil Foden saves Man City against Leeds United
Phil Foden struck a dramatic stoppage-time winner as Manchester City edged Leeds United 3-2 in what was one of the most dramatic games of the season.
City looked in complete control early on, with Foden scoring inside the first minute and Josip Gvardiol heading in from a corner to make it 2-0 by the 25th minute.
However, Leeds roared back after the break, Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled one back before winning a penalty that Lukas Nmecha eventually converted on the rebound after Gianluigi Donnarumma saved his initial effort.
Just as Leeds looked set to snatch a point, Foden fired home through a crowded box in stoppage time to seal a thrilling victory and keep Pep Guardiola’s side in the title hunt.

Everton stunned by Newcastle United at home
Newcastle United finally ended their away-day misery with a dominant 4–1 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
The visitors flew out of the blocks, with Tino Livramento’s pressing creating chaos that led to Malick Thiaw opening the scoring inside the first minute. Lewis Miley quickly made it two after a costly Jordan Pickford error, stunning the home crowd.
Wouter Veltman added a third before halftime, and Thiaw completed his brace early in the second half to seal the rout. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall grabbed a late consolation, but it was a miserable night for Everton as Newcastle celebrated a long-awaited away win.

Tottenham suffer London derby defeat against Fulham
Thomas Frank’s tough start at Tottenham continued as Fulham sealed a 2-1 victory to pile on more home misery for Spurs.
Kenny Tete struck early before Harry Wilson added a stunning lob to leave the hosts reeling. Although Mohammed Kudus pulled one back after the break, it wasn’t enough to prevent a fourth defeat in six league games.
The result extends Tottenham’s dismal home record, just three wins in their last 21 Premier League matches.
