Eberechi Eze netted his maiden Premier League goal for Arsenal as the league leaders’ set-piece precision earned a 1-0 victory over his former side, Crystal Palace, on Sunday.
Eze found the breakthrough late in the first half at the Emirates Stadium, sealing three crucial points that allowed Arsenal to capitalise on defeats for title rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

Matty Cash’s stunner sinks Man City at Villa Park
Matty Cash’s superb first-half strike gave Aston Villa a fine 1-0 victory over Manchester City, dealing an early blow to the champions’ Premier League title hopes.
Cash drilled in from the edge of the box in the 19th minute, securing a fourth straight league win for Villa as they marked Unai Emery’s third anniversary in charge in style.
It was a third successive home win against Pep Guardiola’s side, who fell six points behind leaders Arsenal.

Micky ven de Van at the double as Spurs beat Everton
Two headed goals from Tottenham Hotspur’s Micky van de Ven powered a 3-0 Premier League victory over Everton on Sunday, with the visitors becoming the first team to win at the Merseyside club’s new stadium.
Guglielmo Vicario produced several outstanding second-half saves as Spurs protected their lead, and substitute Pape Matar Sarr nodded in a late third to seal a result that lifted Tottenham to third place on 17 points from nine games.
