Victor Boniface is close to joining AC Milan on loan from Bayer Leverkusen. The deal is expected to be an initial loan with the option to buy. All parties are confident as negotiations now ongoing over the final details. (Patrick Berger)

Eberechi Eze to Arsenal has been verbally agreed, with the Gunners hijacking Tottenham’s move for the Crystal Palace playmaker. He’d been in advanced talks with Spurs but the deal was never sealed, and he’s now heading for a £60m move to the Emirates Stadium. (Fabrizio Romano)
Kai Havertz is set for spell out with a knee injury, which led Arsenal to explore the market for attacking players again. It’s not yet clear how long Havertz will be out for. (David Ornstein)
Arsenal have also been weighing up a move for Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, who’s valued at around £80m. (Sun)
