Arsenal’s injury crisis continues, with Ben White now out for a month and the club now seriously considering entering the market yet again to bolster their squad depth.

January is just around the corner, and I’m told that there are some interesting names being looked at by Arsenal as they weigh up strengthening Mikel Arteta’s squad in a few positions in order to avoid the team’s title challenge fading in the second half of the campaign.

The injury to White, which comes alongside issues for Gabriel Magalhaes and Cristhian Mosquera, while William Saliba has also only just recovered from a spell on the sidelines, means Arsenal now have four defenders on their list.

Although it’s not yet certain if the Gunners will definitely push ahead with moves this January, my understanding is that some internal discussions have already taken place over young talents who had previously been earmarked as long-term targets, and about whether those moves should now be brought forward.
