I think this is a waste of time. The only people who seem to care are Real Madrid and Barcelona, and Juventus. All three desperately need money. No German clubs will participate, the English clubs aren't going to be a part of it, so who will they get to play. PSG aren't interested. Portugal might, Netherlands maybe. Then what have the Saudi Pro-League be a part of it? I'm not happy with the new format for the Champions League, and that was done to appease the big clubs so now what. Let Real Madrid and Barcelona play against each other every week and see how much fun that is. I hate Real Madrid with a passion and this makes my hatred all the more justified. Barcelona is essentially bankrupt, so you can see why they want this to happen. None of it really matters the world is on fire and only thing that gets our blood boiling is what a bunch of super rich people do with a game that is meant for everyone.
As an Arsenal supporter, I don't care for the ESL concept because it's a rich competition of super rich clubs with millionaire "fans" who can afford to travel around Europe to watch their teams.
It would be as much as a disaster as proposing to move AFC to America.
At this point in time, it would be terminal as it would undo all the work that Arteta has put in to make this a GREAT club again, in particular, his efforts to bering the fans back onside.
