🔴 Cause for concern? Fabrizio Romano says "still no breakthrough" on key Manchester United contract talks 👀
When will this finally be resolved?
Manchester United are yet to make any significant breakthrough on a new contract for key defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Fabrizio Romano in his exclusive column for the Daily Briefing.
Wan-Bissaka has been one of the most improved Man Utd players of the last year or so, working his way back into being an important member in the starting XI, and Erik ten Hag will surely want to resolve his future as soon as possible.
Romano says talks have been ongoing since September, but there’s still nothing more concrete to report on for the moment, which could perhaps be a bit of a concern for some United fans.
“A new deal is being considered for Aaron Wan-Bissaka since September. Manchester United are happy with Wan-Bissaka but there’s still no breakthrough at this stage, it will take some time,” Romano wrote in today’s column.
He added: “There’s nothing else imminent in terms of contract extensions, Man United already did a great job with Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot and others.”
