Mikel Arteta: “It’s half-time and we have a big chance to be in the final. You want to be in Champions League final then you need to do something special… then we are going to need to do something special in Paris.”
Thierry Henry on Arsenal’s chances for the second leg: “You never know what’s going to happen. PSG were far superior in this game, so a lot needs to be changed in order for Arsenal to make sure that they can beat PSG over [in Paris]. It’s going be a different ball game. But as soon as [Ousmane] Dembele came off tonight, PSG dropped a bit more. It was easier for Arsenal to put pressure because Dembele wasn’t coming and getting the ball. But, yeah, like I said, you’re still in the tie. Anything can happen.”
Barcelona
Lamine Yamal: “Comparisons with Messi? He’s the best in history, I’m 17… no, no. It’s a motivation for me to do better. The more pressure they put on me, the better I’ll try to perform. It’s a kind of positive pressure!”
Yamal: “Pressure? I left it behind me at my home long time ago… I don’t feel pressure! I just feel like I have to enjoy the moment and give it my all, and that’s it.”
Yamal: “I don’t compare myself with anyone, same with Messi… I admire Leo, he’s the best in history. I just focus on improving, comparing myself with other players doesn’t make any sense.”
Hansi Flick on his future: “I am very happy to be at Barcelona, to work here, with the club, with the players, with the staff around us. I love staying here at Barcelona.”
