ten Hag praised Sancho for his performance in the Champions League.

After Borussia Dortmund overcame Atletico Madrid to go to the Champions League semifinal, Erik ten Hag praised "fantastic" Jadon Sancho.

Sancho was a key player in Dortmund's triumph, starting both legs of their quarterfinal Champions League match against Atletico Madrid and helping them win 5–4 on aggregate.

When discussing the English player, ten Hag stated, "that is not the issue," when asked about Sancho's performances changing his mind about him.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his X account, the Man United manager praised the 24-year-old player and called him "fantastic".

ten Hag said, as quoted by Romano:

“Sancho’s performances changing my mind? No. We know Jadon is a fantastic football player, so that is not a surprise for us…”.

“That is not the issue”.

“He made his contribution to the result for Dortmund. A great performance, for sure”.

ten Hag acknowledged Sancho’s performance but admitted ‘that is not the issue’.

ten Hag confessed Sancho's brilliance and made it clear that he had no doubts about the winger's quality.

He lavished praise on Sancho for bringing his career back to life in Germany and admitted that Sancho made his contribution to the result for the German club.

Manchester United are concentrating on the FA Cup while Dortmund get ready to play PSG in the semifinal of the Champions League.
