AC Milan
Jonathan David remains one of the top targets for AC Milan in 2024. The deal could only be feasible in the summer window due to the price tag. With 12 months left on his current deal, it gives Milan a decent chance of being able to sign him. He’s also on the list of three Premier League clubs.

Leo Messi spoke about the tension on the pitch with Uruguay players: “I prefer not to say what I think about some gestures. But these young people have to learn to respect their elders. This game was always intense and hard but always with a lot of respect. They have to learn a little bit.”

Endrick became the 4th youngest player in history to debut with Brazil (after Pelé, Edu and Coutinho), and the youngest since 1966. The future Real Madrid striker was aged just 17 years, 3 months and 26 days.
Vinicius Junior leaves the Brazilian camp with immediate effect due to a muscle injury after medical tests carried out on Friday. He will travel back to Madrid to be assessed. Feeling is that this injury is bit less serious than last one.

Luis Díaz scored twice against Brazil to win Colombia the match 2-1, and his father’s reaction, coming just a few days after he was released by kidnappers, was just wonderful to see:

Harry Kane found the net once again in England’s 2-0 win. A beautiful build up got the finish it deserved, and Kane now has an incredible 15 goals in the last eight games for club and country. Gareth Southgate spoke about Marcus Rashford’s injury after the game: “I think he’s probably okay. We just thought given the nature of the collision, it was a chance to get Cole into the game. I haven’t assessed it too much but I think Marcus was okay when he came off.”
Everton
Everton have been handed an immediate 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules, meaning that they’ll start their match against Man United next weekend in 19th position, level on four points with bottom club, Burnley. The Toffees issues a swift response:

Juventus sport director Cristiano Giuntoli wins the Greatest Challenge Award at Golden Boy 2023. He won the Serie A title as Napoli director last season before joining Juve this year.
Lamine Yamal wins The Youngest Award at Golden Boy 2023 — it’s a special dedicated Award to reward the youngest player ever to be on the podium of the Golden Boy.
Atalanta centre back Giorgio Scalvini wins the Best U21 Italian Player Award at Golden Boy 2023.

Marseille
Mehdi Benatia is finally set to be appointed as new Marseille sporting director. Negotiations took place for weeks but an agreement has now been reached with all document/details to be sorted at the beginning of next week.
Montpelier
Maxime Estève is expected to be on the move in 2024. The France U21 centre-back is out of contract in June 2025. Italian and German clubs already wanted to sign him last summer and remain keen, more clubs also in the race now.
Paris Saint-Germain
Kylian Mbappé on Luis Enrique not being happy with him despite his last hat-trick: “I took it very well, he’s a great coach and he has a lot to teach me. Since the first day, I told him he would have no problem with me. I have always worked very well with the coaches I have had.”
