Today and tomorrow could be crucial in Andre Onana Man Utd transfer saga

It’s Wednesday, and as I’ve been saying for the last few days, the plan for all parties in the Andre Onana situation was that talks would enter into crucial stages on Wednesday and Thursday. These will now be crucial days for Manchester United to reach an agreement with Inter. So, what’s happening? United will send their final proposal to Inter, and the clubs will need some time to discuss the final structure of the deal. As for Onana, he’s ready to sign his contract with United, so we’re just waiting for the two clubs and these two days will be important. United are working hard to get Onana and it’s been more than close since last Friday.

In case you missed it yesterday, my fellow columnist Ben Jacobs has more info on Onana and further insight into David de Gea’s departure from Old Trafford here.

In less positive news for Man United, they look set to lose one of their top young talents to rivals Manchester City. A deal is close for Harrison Parker to sign a long-term contract at City. It’s now at the final stages, and City are very excited because they think they’ve signed one of the best talents from United’s academy. Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, United look set to sign the twin sons of their former player Darren Fletcher from City, so this helped create a kind of domino effect between the two clubs.
