Jeremy Doku to Man City - here we go!
We start today’s column with a here we go for Jeremy Doku to Manchester City. As I said recently, Man City wanted to advance talks this week, and now an agreement is in place between City and Rennes. The player already had an agreement with City, this is nothing new, but now the clubs have struck a deal after 20 days of negotiations.

Doku was first a target for City at the beginning of August, and now it’s done for a package of €60m. It’s also important to say that this deal has very good payment terms, so City will not pay the largest part of this fee this summer - they will pay over many years, not just this summer.
Everything is agreed, and everything is booked for Doku to have his medical tests with City later this week. So it’s one more addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad while they also wait for Bernardo Silva to sign a new contract, which should be very soon, in the next days.
