France seem unstoppable after Morocco win
France reached the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a controlled 2-0 win over Morocco, ending another impressive Moroccan run on the big stage.
Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 60th minute after earlier missing a penalty, before Ousmane Dembélé added France’s second six minutes later to seal the result.
Morocco showed plenty of fight and discipline, but France’s quality in the final third made the difference.
Les Bleus stayed composed, defended smartly, and delivered another professional knockout performance as they moved one step closer to another World Cup final.
