🚨 'Here we go' - Man United's Donny van de Beek set for pastures new in January
Dutchman will finally play again...
Seeing Donny van de Beek back on a football pitch on a regular basis has been a very long time coming, so it’s no wonder that the Dutchman hasn’t taken long to decide to take up Eintracht Frankfurt’s loan offer for January.
Again in 2023/24, the 26-year-old has barely played for Man United, and despite being the fulcrum of Erik ten Hag’s Ajax side a few years back, he’s been treated like a spare part at Old Trafford by the same manager for a while now.
As a result, he’s needed to get away from that environment for some time.
Despite apparently being close to a summer move to Real Sociedad, that didn’t materialise, but now an agreement has already been reached by Eintracht Frankfurt, which will see the player loaned to the Bundesliga outfit until June.
Fabrizio Romano delivered his famous ‘here we go’ catchphrase for the deal, for which a €15m permanent option exists for the end of the season.
It’s important to mention that it isn’t mandatory, and we will arguably see how the next few months pans out for the player before a decision is reached on a permanent switch.
The German side will also pay a loan fee to Man United for a move that it’s hoped will prove suitable for all parties.
