No . Partey is still an important player for us but Lavia is an ideal replacement and can have a year to prepare to take over from Partey next season . Succession planning !
I agree with this. As nice as it would be to bring Lavia in as a replacement, Partey is reliable and strong in the role and we can’t afford to have a “learning curve” early in the season. Perhaps during the winter xfer season after we see how Declan gets on

Thomas Partey is crucial to Arsenal's title chances, even if he doesn't stay available for every game. When managed well he is THE Beast!
