Atletico Madrid thrash Spurs as crisis continues under Igor Tudor
It was another terrible night for Tottenhamâs interim manager Igor Tudor as his side found themselves 4-0 down inside the first 22 minutes.
Julian Alvarez and Antoine Griezmann were running riot for Atletico Madrid, with young Spurs goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky having a bit of a nightmare and finding himself subbed off after the third goal.
Pedro Porro and Dominic Solanke got consolation goals for Tottenham, but a slick counter-attack was finished off by Alvarez to clinch an emphatic 5-2 score-line for the home side.

Liverpool dealt first leg defeat at Galatasaray
Liverpool were not at their best as they suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Galatasaray in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
Mario Lemina headed in the only goal of the game, while Victor Osimhen also had a goal disallowed in the second half.
Liverpool didnât threaten much, though they also had a goal chalked off when it looked like Ibrahima Konate mightâve bundled in an equaliser.

Barcelona snatch late draw away to Newcastle
Lamine Yamal scored a penalty with the last kick of the game as Barcelona snatched a 1-1 draw against Newcastle at St Jamesâ Park.
The Magpies were unlucky not to come away with the victory after a good performance and a late goal of their own from Harvey Barnes.
However, they now face an uphill task to go through as they prepare for their second leg at the Nou Camp.
