Premier League round-up
Arsenal vs Manchester City
Mikel Arteta surprised fans with his line-up against Man City as he benched Eberechi Eze and started with Leandro Trossard and Noni Madueke on the wings. Bukayo Saka made his return from a hamstring injury and took his place on the bench.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the visitors and kept up his brilliant form this season.
Arteta sent Eze and Saka from the start of the second half and they made instant impact for the Gunners. Arsenal started creating and attacking more. Despite Man City’s valiant effort of defending the Arsenal threat, Arteta’s super sub Gabriel Martinelli scored the equaliser for the Gunners in the 93rd minute.
Both the sides shared the point in an exciting encounter on Sunday in the Premier League but the real winner of the match was Liverpool, who saw both of their title challengers lose two points each. FT: Arsenal 1-1 Manchester City [Pictures from Sky Sports]
