With the ongoing Mohamed Salah situation at Liverpool, we can expect to hear a lot more about possible winger signings and targets to replace him.

As ever, it’s important to separate the noise from the more concrete stuff, and I’ve been inundated with messages in the last few days about some names who frankly not realistic.

I’m getting a clearer picture now, however, of a player who does seem to be of genuine interest to Liverpool and who might also actually be available.
