AC Milan
Fabrizio Romano: “AC Milan are planning for Luka Modric initial part of medical tests to be completed next week in Croatia. It’d happen after international games, if schedule will be approved by Modric.”
AC Milan are set to sign Alex Castiello for their academy from Atalanta. The 2007-born striker put pen to paper on his contract last night on a deal until June 2028 plus option to extend.
Arsenal
Arsenal are informed on the £5m release clause for Kepa Arrizabalaga as they consider him an option to be back up to David Raya. Initial talks have taken place to be informed on the conditions of the deal.
Former Juventus Head of Scouting and Granada director Matteo Tognozzi is in advanced talks to join Andrea Berta’s staff at Arsenal.
Lazio have officially confirmed that they have activated the €9m buy clause for Nuno Tavares to join permanently from Arsenal.
Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid have agreed personal terms with Johnny Cardoso and are now also advancing in talks to get the deal done with Real Betis. The deal is set to cost around €30m with bonuses and also potential players as part of the agreement, which is now being discussed.
Barcelona
Fabrizio Romano: “Barcelona confirmed to Wojciech Szczesny their plan to extend his contract until June 2027. Formal steps yet to be done but agreement in place for the Polish GK. Even after signing Joan Garcia (to be sealed next week), Barça want to continue with Tek.”
Chelsea
Official: Liam Delap has been given the number 9 shirt at Chelsea, while Cole Palmer will switch to wearing number 10 for next season.

Galatasaray have strongly entered the race to sign Victor Osimhen permanently, they’re hoping to get the deal done as the striker’s deal with Al Hilal is about to collapse. The Saudi giants couldn’t reach an agreement with the player.
Lazio

Liverpool
Fabrizio Romano has called for “patience” with the Milos Kerkez to Liverpool deal. The journalist insists that the feeling is the same: the Bournemouth left-back is fully expected to become a Liverpool player soon.
David Ornstein has reported on Liverpool rebuffing a Barcelona approach for Luis Diaz, with the Reds insisting he’s not for sale.
Diaz: “I’m very happy at Liverpool. They’ve treated me well since the first day. We’re talking with other clubs. It’s the transfer window, it’s normal. If Liverpool renews my contract, or if I have to stay the two years I have left, I’ll be happy. It’s up to them.”

Manchester City

Negotiations between Man City and Lyon for Rayan Cherki remain underway after an agreement was reached with the player. Cherki wants to join City - the clubs are now working on the financial package likely to be in excess of €30m.
Rayan Cherki has an agreement with Man City on personal terms, as revealed. “Yes… it’s getting done. But you already know my answer, everybody knows. But there’s still a game to play. Now we have to enjoy and give everything, but after it will be done.”
Tijjani Reijnders is set to undergo his medical tests at Manchester City this Sunday as his transfer from AC Milan edges closer to completion.

Jesus Fortea has signed a new contract at Real Madrid until June 2029 - officially confirmed.
Real Madrid and Benfica remain in contact as they look to reach a full agreement on the Alvaro Carreras transfer deal. The Spanish left-back only wants to join Real Madrid.
