AC Milan

• Luka Modric to AC Milan latest - Milan are prepared to offer the veteran midfielder a contract valid until June 2026 plus the option until June 2027. The Croatian would earn €3.5m plus add-ons net per season.

• Al Hilal are insisting on a move to sign Theo Hernandez with Simone Inzaghi expected to call the AC Milan left-back this week. Agreement club to club for €35m add-ons included but there’s still been no green light from Hernandez at this stage.

Al Hilal

• Al Hilal have made contact with the representatives of Atalanta midfielder Ederson after being turned down by Bruno Fernandes. Ederson is high up on Al Hilal’s list, and Simone Inzaghi’s arrival as manager could be key.

• Simone Inzaghi is set to sign in this week as the new Al Hilal head coach. A deal is in place for the next three years with a huge salary for the Italian coach as he prepares to leave Inter Milan.
