Harvey Elliott is frustrated with his lack of playing time at Aston Villa after joining on loan from Liverpool this summer. Elliott hasn’t started a match for Villa in nearly a month and has remained unused from the bench in each of their last three games under Unai Emery. Chelsea
Maresca: “Garnacho’s doing well. We are trying to manage Ale since he arrived not at 100% from Man United. He is working hard every day, he is getting better and better, and in this moment we are happy with the way he is playing”.
Garnacho on why he joined Chelsea: “When I spoke with the club and Maresca, it’s important also the style of play we have. He explained a lot to me in a video call with him. It’s a big chance to improve as a player in a team like Chelsea”, told Sports Illustrated.
Maresca: “I’m very happy with Acheampong’s attitude since day one here. I hope he feels trusted and part of the group. It’s difficult to play in the UCL and to play from the start in the Premier League, so we show him trust and confidence”.
Maresca: “Liam Delap is back, he’s available for tomorrow. But 90 minutes, not yet. He’s been out for months and has to be manages well now”.
Maresca on João Pedro: “The physical part is important. When you are not 100%, it is difficult to compete. João’s going to score goals and give us assists. He is not going to score 20 goals a year. He’s a different striker profile”.

Manchester City
