  • Arsenal confirm Piero Hincapié deal done and sealed from Bayer Leverkusen. New centre back for Arteta.

  • Mikel Arteta on Hincapie: “Piero has a real physical presence, with his versatility and tactical flexibility giving us strong added defensive options. He is a big character, with a very good combination of both youth and maturity. He will make our squad stronger and more competitive as we continue into this season."

Aston Villa

  • Harvey Elliott, new Aston Villa player on £35m deal from Liverpool. LFC have included a buy back clause.

  • Aston Villa confirm Jadon Sancho has joined on loan from Manchester United. Villa to pay at least 80% of Sancho's wage. Loan fee and achievable bonuses mean Man United are confident of getting full wage coverage by the end of the loan.
