Goals in each half from Dutch attacker Donyell Malen ensured Unai Emeryâs side win three points against Burnley.
Although Lesley Ugochukwu scored for the visitors in the second half but it only ended up being a consolation goal for Scott Parkerâs side.
After a slow start this season, Villa move up to 13th position in the Premier League standings.

Jack Grealish ends Crystal Palaceâs unbeaten run
Jack Grealish netted his maiden goal for Everton to complete a dramatic 2-1 turnaround, halting Crystal Palaceâs 19-game unbeaten streak.
Daniel MuĂąoz had put Palace in front in the 37th minute, but the hosts levelled after the interval when Iliman Ndiaye calmly dispatched a penalty.
Grealish then struck to secure Evertonâs first home Premier League victory since beating Newcastle back in March 2022.

Newcastle inflict more misery on Postecoglou
Nick Woltemade continued his fine run, his fourth goal in five starts, as Newcastle secured a 2-0 victory over Ange Postecoglouâs Nottingham Forest at St Jamesâ Park on Sunday.
Bruno GuimarĂŁes opened the scoring before Woltemade sealed the win from the penalty spot in the 84th minute, handing Postecoglou a defeat in his seventh game in charge despite Forestâs resilient showing on Tyneside.

Erling Haaland guides City to win over Brentford
Erling Haalandâs first-half effort proved decisive as Manchester City battled to a 1-0 victory at Brentford, closing the gap on Premier League leaders Arsenal to just three points.
City controlled much of the opening 45 minutes, with Haaland bulldozing past Sepp van den Berg before firing home his 18th goal of the season (for club and country). The Norwegianâs strike continued a remarkable run, he has now found the net in nine consecutive matches, the best streak of his career.
