Arsenal

• Jacob Ramsey to Newcastle has been agreed - the midfielder will join from Aston Villa for a £40m fee. Ramsey has agreed personal terms and has travelled for his medical as he really wanted the move to St James’ Park. (Fabrizio Romano)

• Aston Villa have been in contact to be informed on Hector Fort - they’re exploring the deal as the Barcelona right-back could be available for transfer before the end of the window. (Matteo Moretto)

• Marco Asensio is edging closer to returning to Aston Villa on a permanent deal worth €20m, on a three-year contract. (Sacha Tavolieri)

Atletico Madrid

• Atletico Madrid have opened talks to sign Nico Gonzalez from Juventus. Discussions have started over a potential permanent deal, and it could unlock a new winger signing for Juve if it goes through. (Fabrizio Romano)

Bayern Munich

• Christopher Nkunku remains one of the main names on Bayern Munich’s list of transfer targets. The France international is considered an ideal player to cover several positions but it depends how expensive he’ll be, while other clubs have also shown an interest and his situation is considered open. • Nick Woltemade is still hoping to join Bayern Munich this summer. Bayern’s current offer is €50m fixed, plus €5m in bonuses, and asell-on clause of ~ 10% for Stuttgart. Woltemade and his camp are said to have received information today that Stuttgart are willing to agree to a sale for €70–75m. (Florian Plettenberg)

• Bayern have informed Jonah Kusi-Asare that he’s in their plans for this season. They want to reject all loan offers for the young striker and get him to sign a new contract. (Florian Plettenberg)

• Bayern have given their final green light for Kingsley Coman to travel to finalise his move to Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr. The deal is done for a fee under €30m, with the French winger signing a three-year deal. (Fabrizio Romano)

Brentford

• A deal is in place for Dango Ouattara to join Brentford. He’ll join from Bournemouth for a £37m fixed fee plus add-ons. Ouattara wanted the move and he’s now been given the green light to have a medical with Brentford today. (Santi Aouna, Foot Mercato)

Chelsea

• Chelsea are preparing to make a direct approach to Liverpool for the transfer of Ibrahima Konate, who is in the final year of his contract at Anfield. (Chelsea News)

• Talks for Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea are continuing in the background - there is contact between the Blues and Manchester United. Garnacho’s position remains that he only wants Chelsea and is just waiting for the green light. (Fabrizio Romano)

• Chelsea have decided to make a donation to Diogo Jota’s family after their big winnings at the Club World Cup this summer. (Adam Crafton, the Athletic)

Everton

• Everton have agreed a deal to sign Reuben Gokah from Charlton Athletic on a long-term deal. The transfer of the 2009-born centre-back was done yesterday as the Toffees focus on a long-term project around youth. (Fabrizio Romano)

Fulham

• Fulham are the latest club to show an interest in Rasmus Hojlund, with the young Danish striker almost certain to leave Manchester United this summer. (Daily Mail)

Juventus

Liverpool

• Liverpool will hold ‘final talks’ with Ibrahima Konate as they look to finally tie him down to a new contract amid interest from the likes of Real Madrid, PSG and Chelsea. (Empire of the Kop)

Manchester City

• Middlesbrough are closing in on the signing of Manchester City youngster Sverre Nypan on loan. Details still need to be sorted, but Nypan is happy with the potential move to Boro, while City also wanted to loan him to an English club. (Fabrizio Romano)

• Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign James McAtee for a package worth £30m. City would have a buy-back clause, plus sell-on clause included in the deal. (David Ornstein)

Manchester United

• Manchester United keep working on the Carlos Baleba transfer, even if Brighton won’t make it an easy deal. Potential sales such as Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho could prove key for the Red Devils to unlock this deal. (Fabrizio Romano)

• Manchester United could also consider signing Morten Hjulmand from Sporting Lisbon if they miss out on Baleba. The Denmark international would be available for cheaper, at more like £50m. (Sun)

Napoli

• Napoli are optimistic of finalising the Juanlu transfer deal, with the agreement now at the final stages. Newcastle United

• Nottingham Forest have submitted a formal €30m bid Rennes for the signing of Arnaud Kalimuendo. Negotiations are now underway between the two clubs. (Fabrizio Romano)

• Nottingham Forest are in the process of agreeing a £37.5m fee with Ipswich Town for Omari Hutchinson. Personal terms won’t be an issue. It’s not done yet as the player has other options, but one to watch, pending final decisions. (David Ornstein)

Real Madrid

• Franco Mastantuono on choosing Real Madrid over PSG: “It’s true, many clubs spoke to me and I thank them. I also spoke to Luis Enrique and I thank him. Xabi Alonso then called me and it was very convincing, I loved that. I can’t wait to work under him.” (Real Madrid official)

Roma

• Roma have made a £20m bid for Jadon Sancho as they look to beat other major clubs to the signing of the Manchester United winger. (BBC Sport)

Tottenham

• Tottenham are prepared to open formal Eberechi Eze transfer talks with Crystal Palace. The England international has been part of Spurs’ plans this summer and he’d be open to joining if the clubs can reach an agreement. (Fabrizio Romano)

• The next 48 hours could be crucial in the Eze to Spurs saga, with Thomas Frank really pushing for this signing that he views as essential to help his team replace Son Heung-min. (Mark Brus, CaughtOffside)
