Premier League round-up
Liverpool vs Everton
Liverpool started the match with Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz on the bench, two of their record signings.
With Hugo Ekitike leading the attack, supported by Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo, Arne Slot's men ended up winning three points once again to continue their 100% start to the season.
Ryan Gravenberch started the scoring at Anfield with a beautiful finish, assisted brilliantly by Salah.
Ekitike doubled the lead with a neat finish just under the half hour matk to give Slot's side a two-goal cushion. Three Premier League goals in five games since joining.
Idrissa Gueye gave the visitors hope of a comeback with a thumping finish in the second half but it was not enough for David Moyes' side to get a result at Anfield.
