Arsenal move back to the top of the league

Eberechi Eze’s early strike proved decisive as Arsenal secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium. The midfielder found the net in the ninth minute, giving Mikel Arteta’s side the ideal start in a match they badly needed to win after recent setbacks.

Arsenal had come into the game under pressure following consecutive defeats to Bournemouth and Manchester City, which had briefly seen them lose their place at the top of the Premier League table.

Despite the narrow scoreline, Arsenal showed resilience to protect their early lead and keep Newcastle at bay for the remainder of the match. The result allowed Arteta’s side to reclaim top spot from Manchester City
