Trent Alexander-Arnold should sign his new Liverpool contract by the end of the year, according to Daily Briefing columnist Neil Jones.

Liverpool fans will no doubt be desperate for this saga to be resolved as soon as possible, but Jones has insisted there is nothing to fear here, with no hiccups likely on the road to Alexander-Arnold committing his long-term future to the club.

“I would expect Liverpool to get Trent Alexander-Arnold’s contract situation sorted by the end of the year,” Jones wrote earlier today.
