Man United deny 'categorically false’ reports Erik Ten Hag facing sack
Club sources adament Manchester United are not looking to replace Dutchman.
Manchester United are not currently looking at alternative managerial options to replace Erik Ten Hag.
Reports on Thursday afternoon suggested the Red Devils are considering parting ways with Ten Hag and have identified Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim and Zinedine Zidane as the Dutchman’s possible successors.
However, as per leading transfer journalist and Daily Briefing mastermind Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United’s senior hierarchy are adamant these reports are ‘categorically false’.
Even though reports of a possible sacking are perhaps premature at this stage, there is no doubt Ten Hag is under pressure at Old Trafford.
Failure to pick up maximum points from their next three games, which include two favourable-looking Premier League fixtures against Fulham and Luton Town either side of a huge Champions League group clash against FC Copenhagen, could lead to the former Ajax boss coming under even more fire.
