Manchester United endured a slightly frustrating summer transfer window, even if they did manage to get hold of some exciting new attacking players in the end.

Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko joined to form an entire new front three, but the latter of those cost a staggering £74m.

According to latest reports, Man Utd could have had their first choice striker signing for less than half of that.
