Florian Wirtz and Leroy Sane were instrumental in Germanyâs 6-0 win against Slovakia, a win that sealed their qualification to the World Cup in 2026.
Sane scored a brace along with goals from Nick Woltemade, Serge Gnabry, Ridle Baku and Assan Ouedraogo.

Poland left it late to win crucial match against Malta
Polandâs Piotr Zielinski delivered late drama with a decisive goal to secure a 3-2 win away to Malta on Monday, but the victory ultimately wasnât enough for them to climb to the top of their World Cup qualifying group.
Instead, the Polish national team will have to settle for a playoff spot as they chase a place at next yearâs finals. Robert Lewandowski and Pawel Wszolek scored the other two goals for Poland.

The ÂŁ100m valuation for Elliot Anderson seems a bit steep considering he only moved to Forest for around ÂŁ35m last summer. That said, his performances this seaon have been impressive and Forest are clearly in a strong bargaining position. United's midfield desperately neds reinforcement, but I wonder if they'd be better off pursing Wharton or Baleba for that price tag.
