Manchester City keep title hopes alive with comfortable win vs Palace
Manchester City were able to keep the pressure on Arsenal with a 3-0 win at home to Crystal Palace last night, despite Pep Guardiola resting players for the upcoming FA Cup final.
The likes of Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki, and Jeremy Doku started the game on the bench, but Phil Foden did well as he came into the starting line up, delivering a delightful assist for Antoine Semenyo to score the opener.
Omar Marmoush made it 2-0 before half time, and Savinho finished well in the second half to seal a comfortable 3-0 victory.
This means Arsenal can’t mathematically wrap up the title at home to Burnley on Monday night, but the title remains in the Gunners’ hands as two wins in their final two games confirms them as champions.
