Antoine Semenyo lights up Bournemouth vs Fulham clash
We saw a pretty crazy game between Bournemouth and Fulham last night, with four goals in the final 20 minutes.
First, Ryan Sessegnon gave Fulham the lead, but the home side quickly turned things around, with Antoine Semenyo in particularly sparkling form.
The Ghana international scored twice, while Justin Kluivert also fired in a superb effort to complete the late comeback for Andoni Iraola’s side.

England

Inter Miami
Inter Miami are in talks over the surprise signing of Sergio Reguilon. Negotiations are already well underway for him to join the MLS side on a free transfer after his departure from Tottenham in the summer. Reguilon has multiple offers but is expected to choose Inter Miami. (Fabrizio Romano)
Liverpool
Liverpool will hold internal talks over whether or not to try signing a new centre-back in the middle of the season, with Marc Guehi the obvious choice, though he’s not necessarily desperate to leave Crystal Palace before his contract expires in the summer. (Ben Jacobs)
Arne Slot on Giorgi Mamardashvili: “I think we’ve seen against Southampton how well he’s adjusted. We knew that we were bringing in a very good goalkeeper. But when he plays his first game, that’s always the best way of seeing that he’s adjusted well or not – and I think we’ve seen in that game that he’s adjusted really well to our goal, which is not a surprise because he’s a quality goalkeeper. Now he can do what Caoimh [Kelleher] had to do so many times in the past, replacing Alisson – hopefully in a way Caoimh did so many times before.”
Manchester City
Savinho has signed his new contract with Manchester City, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2031. (Man City official site)
Pep Guardiola: “Rodri will be good at the 2026 World Cup with Spain, next season - he will be the best Rodri. This season, it will be how you handle it, step by step. It’s normal. For one year, he’s been on the massage table. The body changes, the rhythm changes…” (Press conference)
Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes to Saudi Arabia could be one to watch again in the January transfer window, with the Manchester United star likely to be offered more than double his current salary if he moves there. (Manchester Evening News)
Ruben Amorim: “Criticism is normal… we cannot run away from the results. We had six games this season, and we have lost three. And if we lost against Arsenal because of the system? It’s your job to make the opinions.” (Press conference)
Amorim: “Nobody here is naive. We understand we need results to continue the project. We will reach a point that is impossible for everyone because this is a very big club with a lot of sponsors. So the balance is really hard.” (Press conference)
Andoni Iraola to Manchester United? The rumours won’t stop after Bournemouth’s win last night saw the Spanish tactician hailed as “incredible” and tipped for any big job he wants. Full story here!

Eddie Howe confirms Tino Livramento will be out for two months: “The specialist confirmed it is an 8-week injury, which is a blow for us with the number of games we have in that period. It is a ligament injury and it will take time to recover.” (Press conference)
Nottingham Forest
Ange Postecoglou’s Nottingham Forest future is already in some doubt. Although the club ownership are keen to make it work, they wouldn’t hesitate to make a change if this poor start continues. (Ben Jacobs)
Real Madrid
Xabi Alonso confirms there’s no problem with Federico Valverde: “No player in the squad has told me that they don’t want to play in a certain position. They’re all ready to play wherever.”
Alonso: “Endrick’s time will come soon. He’s coming off an injury and soon will be his moment. He’s a goal-scorer, a brutal finisher. I like Endrick.”
