  • Plus the latest Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City news

AC Milan

  • Mikel Arteta: “It’s incredible how you don’t win that game. New striker? We missed form various ways and different players. I understand guys. I cannot love my players more. I focus very much on the ones that I have.”

  • Arteta: “Gabriel Jesus? Big worry, that’s my feeling. He had to come off on a stretcher touching his knee… so unfortunately it’s not looking good.”

  • Meanwhile, Riccardo Calafiori was ruled out with a muscle injury against Manchester United.

Barcelona

  • What a superb solo goal by Lamine Yamal in an emphatic victory for Barcelona over rivals Real Madrid! FT Real Madrid 2-5 Barcelona [Pictures from Rabanalsafena]

  • Pedri’s new Barcelona contract is expected to happen in the next months. The player has confirmed it’s progressing and there’s no reason for fans to worry - negotiations are already very advanced. Pedri and Gavi are due to extend, and it’s the same for Lamine Yamal.

Bayern Munich

  • Manuel Neuer has confirmed: “It’s true, I will sign a new deal at FC Bayern soon,” he told Sport1. It will be valid until June 2026 - one more season at Bayern for the German goalkeeping legend.

  • Joshua Kimmich on his contract expiring in six months: “I spoke to the club. I won't put too much pressure on myself. But of course there has to be a decision in the coming months. Of course there are many good reasons to extend. I have to consider it all and decide.”
