USA beat Australia to move into knockout rounds
The United States continued their strong start to the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a solid 2-0 victory over Australia in their Group D clash.
USA went ahead through an own goal from Cameron Burgess before Alex Freeman added the second with a header that was confirmed after review.
The result showed the depth and discipline of the American side, especially with Christian Pulisic unavailable, and moved them one step closer to finishing top of the group.

Saibari wins it for Morocco against Scotland
Morocco earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over Scotland in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Group C clash, taking a big step forward in their campaign. The Atlas Lions made the perfect start, with Ismael Saibari scoring the only goal of the game after just 71 seconds.
That early strike gave Morocco control and forced Scotland to chase the match for almost the entire night.
Morocco looked composed in possession and managed the game well, while Scotland struggled to create enough clear chances to find a way back.

Cunha brace gives Brazil their first 2026 World Cup win
Brazil bounced back in style at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Haiti in their Group C clash.
After drawing their opening game against Morocco, Brazil needed a strong response, and they delivered with a much sharper attacking performance.
Matheus Cunha was the standout finisher for Brazil, scoring twice in the first half to put his side in control. Vinicius Junior was also heavily involved, assisting both Cunha goals before getting on the scoresheet himself just before half-time.
