Arsenal

Arteta: “I said to Havertz: things are hard at the beginning. When I met my wife, at the beginning it was hard to conquer her. It was hard, I had to try and message her, and go, and go. And at the end when she says ‘yes, we can be together…’ it’s beautiful.”
Bayern Munich
Joao Palhinha to Bayern in January? Thomas Tuchel: “There’s no update on that and no point thinking about that now either. He plays for Fulham, and we play here without him. I don’t know, things can sometimes change. Nobody can predict.”
Chelsea
Nottingham Forest made an important proposal to try to sign Trevoh Chalobah on Deadline Day. The agreement with Chelsea was done on a permanent transfer for more than £25m. Chalobah appreciated the effort but rejected the offer and decided to stay after a deal with Bayern Munich collapsed.
Crystal Palace
Manchester City didn’t send any official proposal for Eberechi Eze on Deadline Day. Despite rumours of a £60m last minute proposal, City considered Eze as they appreciate him — but before signing Matheus Nunes. There was no bid on Deadline Day, as he was 100% untouchable for Crystal Palace.
Everton
Demarai Gray statement: “Everton fans have always been great with me — but it’s so difficult to play for someone who doesn’t show you respect as a person.” Gray, showing strong and clear position after Everton rejected several bids to sell him.
Jean-Philippe Gbamin is available as free agent after terminating his contract at Everton on Deadline Day. Gbamin has no agreement with any club yet and he’s assessing his options — an opportunity on free transfer.
Fulham
Joao Palhinha to Bayern in January? Thomas Tuchel: “There’s no update on that and no point thinking about that now either. He plays for Fulham, and we play here without him. I don’t know, things can sometimes change. Nobody can predict.”
Monaco plan to try again for Tosin Adarabioyo in January after pushing hard to sign him. Monaco offered €12m plus €3m add ons on Deadline Day, deal off due to Fulham failing to find a replacement — same case as with Joao Palhinha and Bayern. Monaco still want Tosin for 2024.
Hajduk Split
Mihael Zaper has left Osijek and is now set to join Hajduk Split. The Croatian midfielder is on his way to Split in order to complete medical tests. €1.5m fee — Zaper was due to be free agent next summer and didn’t want to sign new deal.
Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp on Mohamed Salah and Al Ittihad: “It was a media story, it never came true — everything completely normal.”
Dominik Szoboszlai on Mohamed Salah and Al Ittihad: “We speak between each other… he wants to stay here, he wants to be here, he wants to stay with us. At the end, he stayed and that’s great news. He’s top player.”
Manchester City
Manchester City didn’t send any official proposal for Eberechi Eze on Deadline Day. Despite rumours of a £60m last minute proposal, City considered Eze as they appreciate him — but before signing Matheus Nunes. There was no bid on Deadline Day, as he was 100% untouchable for Crystal Palace.
Manchester United
Erik ten Hag: “Jadon Sancho out? Based on performance on training we didn’t select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. That’s why in this game he wasn’t selected.”
Sancho’s response with a statement via social media: “Please don’t believe everything you read. I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself very well in training this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”
What next for Harry Maguire after failing to leave Man Utd this summer?
And what lies in store for Mason Greenwood after his loan move to Getafe?
Monaco

PSG

Real Betis
Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini: “I don’t think we will sell Luiz Felipe [to Al Ittihad] now as it would be really irresponsible. We can’t sell him now and then we’d just have two centre backs in the squad, so I don’t expect any movement.”

Salernitana
Salernitana director De Sanctis on Boulaye Dia deal: “Disrespectful behaviour, disrespectful offer from Wolves. They sent a loan with option to buy bid late Thursday for figures that, if I were to make public, would cause a diplomatic incident. This affected Dia.”
