Premier League round-up
Newcastle stunned by late Sunderland winner
Brian Brobbey struck deep into stoppage time to seal a memorable derby double for Sunderland over Newcastle, as they fought back to claim a 2-1 victory at St James’ Park.
After falling behind to an early goal from Anthony Gordon, the Black Cats responded strongly, drawing level through Chemsdine Talbi 12 minutes into the second half before snatching all three points late on thanks to Brobbey’s 90th-minute finish, his sixth goal of the campaign and only Sunderland’s 10th away strike in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham embarrassed by Forest at home
Tottenham crumbled in a hostile atmosphere, suffering a 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest that deepened fears of relegation. Igor Jesus gave the hosts the lead before halftime.
Morgan Gibbs-White doubled Forest’s lead with a well-worked move after 62 minutes, before substitute Taiwo Awoniyi sealed the win late on, prompting Spurs fans to head for the exits.
Loud boos rang out at full time as Tottenham’s winless Premier League run stretched to 13 matches, leaving them 17th, just one point above West Ham.

League round-up
O’Reilly inspires City to victory against Arsenal
Nico O’Reilly scored twice in a blistering five-minute spell after the break to lead Manchester City to a 2-0 victory in the Carabao Cup final and end Arsenal’s quadruple hopes.
Stand-in Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga gifted City the opener when he spilled Rayan Cherki’s cross just after the hour, allowing O’Reilly to head in from close range.
City struck again four minutes later as O’Reilly converted Matheus Nunes’ cross, prompting jubilant celebrations from Pep Guardiola on the touchline.
