Released audio reveals what the assistant referee really said about Van Dijk’s disallowed goal vs Man City
Liverpool fans are fuming!!
The PGMOL has released the VAR audio surrounding the controversial decision to disallow Virgil van Dijk’s 38th-minute equaliser against Manchester City.
The incident occurred during Liverpool’s eventual 3-0 defeat on Sunday when Van Dijk headed home from a corner, only for the goal to be ruled out after assistant referee Stuart Burt raised his flag.

PGMOL immediately released a statement to explain the decision but it was not satisfactory, with Liverpool officially raising concerns with the PGMOL chief Howard Webb.
But the audio released does not help as the Howard Webb as it only further exposes the bizarre decision.
