Man United breeze past Aston Villa at Old Trafford

Manchester United boosted their top-four hopes with a win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes played a decisive role, assisting goals for Casemiro and Matheus Cunha to take his season tally to 16 Premier League assists, breaking David Beckham’s club record.

Substitute Benjamin Sesko added a late goal to seal the win, moving United three points clear of Villa as Unai Emery’s side’s poor run continued.

Liverpool fail to beat struggling Tottenham

Tottenham rescued a dramatic 1–1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield thanks to a stoppage-time equaliser from Richarlison, easing the pressure on interim coach Igor Tudor.

Liverpool had taken the lead in the first half when Dominik Szoboszlai’s free-kick caused problems for Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, continuing Spurs’ struggles with defensive errors. Arne Slot’s side looked set to secure an important win for their Champions League push, but Tottenham struck late.

In the 90th minute, substitute Randal Kolo Muani battled past Virgil van Dijk and squared the ball for Richarlison, who finished past Brazil team-mate Alisson Becker.
