Real Madrid attacker decides to leave the club after Champions League success
La Liga winners wanted to keep him but he has decided to leave.
Real Madrid striker Joselu is one the move again after a successful season with Los Blancos.
During the 2023–24 season, the 34-year-old scored 18 goals for Real Madrid, helping the team win both the La Liga and the Champions League.
Joselu was a loanee from Espanyol, a second-tier Spanish team, with a summer option to join Real Madrid permanently.
However, Joselu is aware of the restricted playing time he will have in the upcoming season with the high-profile additions of Endrick and Kylian Mbappé.
He's chosen to look elsewhere for fresh opportunities.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on X, the Spaniard is set to leave Real Madrid to join Qatari side Al Gharafa.

"Deal at final stages with Al Gharafa as details will be clarified soon with the striker.

At the beginning of the 2023–24 season, Joselu joined Real Madrid on loan.
His two pivotal goals against Bayern Munich in the Champions League semifinals kept Real Madrid from losing were among his most significant performances when he came off the bench.
With Mbappe and Endrick to arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, Joselu would have seen limited playing time.
He has taken a big decision in his career and chosen the option of a new adventure in the Middle East.
As expected, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti wanted to keep the experienced striker at the club but he has decided to move to Qatar.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are losing another player as the club have given the green light to Rafa Marin to join Napoli.
