Real Madrid captain has "no intention to stay in Europe" after receiving offers from USA and Saudi Arabia
He has been a Real Madrid player since joining the club as a child in 2001.
Nacho is likely to call time on his trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid next month.
The 34-year-old defender’s contract is due to expire on June 30 when he is expected to wave goodbye to Madrid after more than two decades on the club’s books.
Nacho has been Madrid’s captain since Karim Benzema left last summer.
Benzema moved to Al-Ittihad and a switch to Saudi Arabia could also be on the cards for Nacho.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano via X.com on Tuesday, Nacho’s next destination will almost certainly be outside of Europe.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, there is interest in Nacho from Major League Soccer clubs in the United States.
Romano explained: “Nacho has received proposals from MLS and Saudi clubs in order to join at the end of the season.
“He’s still expected to leave Real as free agent but no intention to stay in Europe, for sure not in Spain.
“MLS and Saudi, options being considered.”
Nacho has won 24 first-team trophies with Real, including five UEFA Champions League crowns.
He will have the chance to move onto 25 trophies on June 1 as his likely last game for Madrid will come in this season’s Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund at London’s Wembley Stadium.
