Chelsea were thrashed 3-0 by Brighton last night as their miserable run continued. Goals from Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood, and Danny Welbeck condemned the Blues to a shocking fifth consecutive Premier League defeat without scoring a single goal - their worst run since 1912. The result also saw the Seagulls overtake Liam Rosenior’s side into 6th place in the table, with Stamford Bridge now highly unlikely to be hosting Champions League football next season.
Rosenior was NOT happy after the game, insisting that Chelsea’s players needed to have a look in the mirror and do the basics much better in terms of showing any pride wearing the shirt.
