With William Saliba’s new Arsenal contract all but confirmed now, I thought I’d drop a post here to let you know my latest information on how it impacts Ibrahima Konate’s future at Liverpool.
As has been widely reported by almost everyone now, Real Madrid were very keen to sign Saliba if he became available. That hasn’t happened, but Konate has also been linked multiple times with the Spanish giants.
Some outlets have linked Konate as a top target, while others have deemed him more of a ‘Plan B’ for Madrid in case they missed out on Saliba. As is often the case, the truth lies somewhere in between.
