Manchester United were in the mix for both Axel Disasi and Marc Cucurella this summer, with both moves falling through for different reasons.

The Red Devils considered signing Cucurella on loan from Chelsea, but ended up pulling the plug on the deal and going for Sergio Reguilon instead, as the Blues were not willing to include a break clause in the deal.
