• Ajax submitted a new bid for Josip Sutalo, €20m fixed fee plus add-ons to sign the Croatian centre back. Ajax now confident to get it done but want an answer in two days — or they will move onto a different target as new CB.

• Mohamed Daramy is now getting closer to Reims. Negotiations are advancing with Ajax. €17m permanent deal add-ons included, now moving to final stages — ahead of Burnley in the race.

• Edson Álvarez has signed his contract as a West Ham player.

Al Ahli

• Negotiations between Al Ahli and Napoli for Piotr Zielinski, ongoing. Formal bid is the same since Sunday and Saudi club is pushing to make it happen.

• Official, confirmed. Franck Kessié joins Al Ahli in €12.5m deal.

• Roger Ibanez, flying from Paris to complete his move from AS Roma. After Matthias Jaissle as new coach, two more smart additions for Al Ahli as both Kessié and Ibanez join for combined fee around €45m... and it’s not over yet.

Al Hilal

• Despite Al Hilal’s improved proposal of up to €45m fee, Nasser Al Khelaifi remains unmoved on his position: no intention to sell Marco Verratti under the current conditions. Verratti agreed terms as he wants Saudi move but still no breakthrough between clubs.

Al Rayyan

• Al Rayyan have just completed André Amaro deal — 2002 born defender joins from Vitoria Guimarães. Fee around €7.7m plus 20% sell-on clause to Vitoria.

Amiens

• Manchester United centre back Teden Mengi has received a loan bid from French side Amiens. Discussions taking place now between all parties involved.

Arsenal

• Official: Matt Turner joins Nottingham Forest, permanent deal from Arsenal

• David Raya deal, sealed between Brentford and Arsenal. Medical tests booked on Thursday then he will be unveiled as an Arsenal player. Here we go confirmed, deal valid until June 2028. Initial loan for £3m plus £27m buy option clause. Brentford accepted this way as it helps Arsenal with Financial Fair Play. Buy option clause, automatically activated after a few games.

• Arsenal’s Charlie Patino is closing in on a loan move to Swansea, here we go! Verbal agreement at final stages, club source confirms — details being sorted. Understand its a loan until June then back to Arsenal, deal expires in 2025.

AS Monaco

• AS Monaco have sent a new official bid to Juventus worth €22m with add-ons included for Denis Zakaria. Juventus insisting on €25m package to make deal happen but parties getting closer. Agreement on personal terms, deal closer as Hütter is pushing to have Zakaria.

AS Roma

• Merih Demiral's priority remains to leave Atalanta this month; he'd only accept a top club move. AS Roma have added his name in the list alongside Omar Solet, Inter remain interested since June.

• Roger Ibanez, flying from Paris to complete his move from AS Roma. After Matthias Jaissle as new coach, two more smart additions for Al Ahli as both Kessié and Ibanez join for combined fee around €45m... and it’s not over yet.

Atalanta

Atlético Madrid

Barcelona

• Official, confirmed. Franck Kessié joins Al Ahli on €12.5m deal.

• Athl. Paranaense CEO Mattos: “There’s no chance for Vitor Roque to leave and join Barça in August. “He will leave in January, that was the pact with Barça and it will be respected. We need him for final 20 games and to qualify for Copa Libertadores 2024.”

Brentford

• Official, confirmed. Sander Berge joins Burnley on a £15m deal.

Celta Vigo

• Deal sealed. Carl Starfelt joins Celta on a four-year contract, clubs signed all the documents on Wednesday.

• Napoli sent a new formal bid to Celta Vigo for Gabri Veiga. Napoli have gone higher up to €32/33m with add-ons. No green light from Celta yet but talks continue. Gabri Veiga already accepted Napoli.

Celtic

• Deal sealed. Carl Starfelt joins Celta on a four-year contract, clubs signed all the documents on Wednesday.

Chelsea

• Lewis Hall will become a new Crystal Palace player this week. Positive talks took place on the player side after the agreement reached with Chelsea last week.

• Leicester City have agreed a loan deal for Cesare Casadei to join from Chelsea. Deal in place and medical this week, if all goes to plan.

• Chelsea are now actively working on the Tyler Adams deal — talks ongoing between clubs and personal terms being discussed.

• Callum Hudson-Odoi, still training at Chelsea but Fulham are pushing to make the deal happen this week

• Juventus manager Allegri on Vlahović & Lukaku swap: “Vlahović is our striker, I already said that in case we receive big proposals the club is going to decide. I don’t decide on these kind of things — I am very happy with Vlahović.”

• Chelsea have currently no intention to include Dušan Vlahović in a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku despite Juventus’ proposal. Chelsea respect Vlahović but are working closely with Lukaku on an exit — Europe now or Saudi in September. Juventus keep asking for €40m plus Lukaku and that’s why the swap is currently on stand-by, with Chelsea looking at different options. Lukaku has agreed a three-year deal with Juve.

• Official: Reece James has been named as the new Chelsea captain.

• Deivid Washington will travel to London at the end of the current week to sign as a new Chelsea player. €20m package add-ons included was agreed on Tuesday. AS Monaco tried until the end but never had chances as Deivid only wanted Chelsea move. Here we go, confirmed.

• Chelsea have submitted a formal bid to Southampton for Roméo Lavia worth £48m. Negotiations ongoing between clubs as Liverpool’s last proposal was worth £45m and rejected.

Crystal Palace

• Paris Saint-Germain are keeping talks open for Randal Kolo-Muani. Not imminent — but the deal remains on. Kolo-Muani was never an alternative to Gonçalo Ramos and contacts also took place earlier this week.

Everton

• Everton have concrete interest in Hugo Ekitike. Negotiations will take place over a loan deal with buy option clause that can become mandatory. PSG want €35m total package, still at early stages on both PSG and player side.

Fulham

• Callum Hudson-Odoi, still training at Chelsea but Fulham are pushing to make the deal happen this week.

Galatasaray

• Galatasaray have just signed documents to complete Tetê deal, here we go! Four-year contract agreed on €2.5m salary per season. Tetê joins as free agent.

Inter Milan

• Plan confirmed. Lazar Samardzić has arrived in Milan, as expected — he will undergo medical tests as a new Inter player today.

Juventus

• More on Lucas Paquetá. Man City have approached West Ham and had verbal discussions over a £70m package, but it’s not enough. Deal not easy but City will try again. Guardiola has always been a fan of Paquetá. Player keen after he picked Roc Nation Brazil as new agents recently. His £85m release clause is not valid this summer, only from June 2024. Clubs remain in contact and West Ham hope to keep the player, but they’re aware of his desire to join City. Including players in the deal could be an option to be discussed soon.

Man United

• West Ham have reached an agreement in principle with Manchester United for Harry Maguire on a £30m fee and are now waiting to have formal authorisation to start discussions over personal terms. The verbal agreement is subject to final, key points on the deal structure. Still under discussion but fee now agreed.
