Genoa trigger the clause to sign Junior Messias on a permanent deal from AC Milan — €3m total package.
Al Hilal
Al Hilal want to advance on a deal for Renan Lodi in the next couple of days as they hope to close the deal soon. Negotiations with Olympique Marseille continue and keep advancing.
AZ Alkmaar
AZ Alkmaar are set to sign Kristijan Belic from Partizan, permanent deal at final stages with the Dutch club. Fee will be under €4m. Medical early next week if all goes to plan.
Bayern Munich
Bayern are planning to insist on the Nordi Mukiele deal in the next few days again as talks continue. More discussions will follow, it’s up to PSG. Bayern want Mukiele as their next top target - Thomas Tuchel has approved him and Mukiele is keen on the move.
Joshua Kimmich on his future and contract expiring in 2025: “I’m only focused Bayern. For me, it’s not a winter topic at all. At some point the club will approach me (over a new contract), and we’ll discuss it between us and not with the media.”
Bayern director Christoph Freund on Joao Palhinha: “We wanted him last summer, but the priority now was to strengthen ourselves at the back. In addition, Alexander Pavlovic has already filled a good role. That’s why we believe we have a good alternative internally.”
