Arsenal
Ben White ruled himself out of England duty, so how have Arsenal responded to whatâs taken place? Fabrizio Romano takes a look in his exclusive column.

Arsenal have confirmed that Takehiro Tomiyasu has signed a new deal at the club. The agreement is valid until June 2026 with option to extend for further year.
Tomiyasu on his contract: âI am so happy to extend my contract because Arsenal is the best club in the world. Itâs a dream to play for this club, so Iâm happy. When I'm on the pitch I feel the love and energy from the supporters. We are connected a lot so I want to give them something back. I am playing for Arsenal, and this means Iâm playing for the Arsenal supporters. Thatâs why I dedicate my life to this club and the supporters.â
Arsenal director Edu said: âWe are very excited to have Tomi with us for more years to come. He has huge qualities both on and off the pitch, and offers so much strength and versatility to our squad. Tomi is a top professional and itâs great that heâll continue to play an important role in the coming years, as we work towards achieving our goals.â
Mikel Arteta was also full of praise for Tomiyasu, saying: âWe are so pleased to have Tomi commit his future with us. Together with his natural ability and strength, Tomiâs attitude, mentality and values are first-class. Tomi is loved by everyone and has been an integral part of the squad since joining us.â

Barcelona

Good news for Joao Cancelo, as he can regularly return to football activity. His relative has been diagnosed with a heart problem and Barca medical staff have subjected him to tests to rule out that itâs hereditary. All good now; Cancelo will be back after missing the teamâs last game.
Bayern Munich
Bayernâs Uli Hoeness on Xabi Alonso as their priority manager target: âXabi has proven that he can be a coach for the really big teams. It will be much more difficult because clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Leverkusen and also FC Bayern are working on.â
Bayern director Max Eberl: âWeâll have financial chances in the summer, but not limitless. New signings include sales in order to have the financial means to do something. We canât make transfers like Kane every summer. We need 14/15 top players.â
Would Jose Mourinho be in the category of âcrazy ideasâ for Bayern? Director Max Eberl: âOf course weâre also looking into coaches who are currently available. Jose learning German? I donât know!â
Eberl: âJamal Musialaâs contract extension is a big goal for the club, it's crucial. There can be no other option for us. We want young top players like Musiala, Tel, Pavlovic and the others. But also experienced players are needed.â

Bayern new signing Sacha Boey has sustained âmuscle tear in his left hamstring in trainingâ, club confirms. âBoey will be sidelined for the coming weeks.â
Manuel Neuer suffered a muscle strain in his left adductor during the national teamâs training. Neuer will therefore return to Munich as heâs leaving the national team camp.
Manuel Neuer will undergo tests in Munich to understand more about his injury. Nagelsmann: âNeuer is out for the two games [France and the Netherlands] and maybe also for Bayern vs Dortmund⌠but thatâs not my job. Itâs very annoying.â
Chelsea
