  • Sergi Roberto is in talks to extend his contract at Barca as Xavi wants to keep him. Sergi hints at potential extension: “We are very happy with Xavi staying. With him and this team, we will be able to compete for every single title.”

  • Xavi on Robert Lewandowski’s future: “I’m super happy with Lewandowski. I’m not gonna speak about future moves of any player, but his contribution is just excellent. I’m very, very happy with Robert.”

Bayern Munich

  • With Leicester promoted, Abdul Fatawu will join from Sporting for €17m. Bargain fee for the 20-year-old, who has six goals and 13 assists in the Championship this season.

  • Manchester United position, still the same and clear: planning to cash in on Mason Greenwood this summer as priority. Final decision to be made at the end of the season but Man Utd are open to permanent move for Greenwood. Funds would be key for FFP also to be re-invested.

  • Man United confirm that Patrick Stewart, interim Chief Executive Officer, and Cliff Baty, Chief Financial Officer, have decided to leave at the end of the season. Patrick will be replaced as CEO by Jean-Claude Blanc until the arrival of Omar Berrada on 13 July.
