Scotland screamers secure first World Cup qualification in 28 years
People complain about the international break, but Scotland’s win over Denmark last night was what football is all about.
After a 28-year wait, Scotland will be back at the World Cup next summer, and they did it in some style with three absolute screamers in yesterday’s victory.
Scott McTominay opened the scoring with a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque bicycle kick, before a late curler from Kieran Tierney and then an incredible lob from the half-way line by Kenny McLean.
